Kisha Gore is a passionate storyteller dedicated to uplifting and empowering young readers. She lives in Washington, DC, where she works for an agency committed to fostering equity and access for Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing communities.

With more than 25 years of experience as a sign language interpreter, Kisha brings a deep understanding of communication, inclusion, and connection into everything she creates.

​

When she’s not writing, she enjoys spending time with her family, encouraging women and girls to feel confident and proud of who they are, and exploring the outdoors on her bike. Through her stories, she hopes to inspire children to embrace kindness, celebrate differences, and believe in themselves.
