Where does the Expo take place?

The Expo will be held at the Keller Williams Event Center, 1441 McCormick Drive, Suite 1130, Largo, MD, 20774.   The Event Center is located across from the University of Maryland Global Campus location.

Is the venue metro accessible?

Largo Town Center Metro Station is 1 mile away from the venue.

BUS ACCESS. Prince George’s County The Bus Route 21X from Largo Town Center Metro Station. The bus stop is directly in front of the venue.

Is there parking at the venue?

There are many parking spaces around the building. Parking is also available at the neighboring buildings.

How much does it cost to attend?

I’ve never been to an author Expo. What can I expect?

The Expo is a free, family-friendly event that will last five hours and bring together readers and writers. Participating authors will share their work and discuss their craft, engaging in lively conversations and encouraging audience participation. In addition to the interactive presentations, the Expo Marketplace will be bustling with book sales, signings, giveaways, children's storytime, learning projects, and family-friendly activities. Additionally, there will be a cafe area with a range of delicious eats and refreshments.

Can I bring children to the Expo?  Will the event have any kid-friendly activities and programming?

Yes.  Children are encouraged to attend.  Multiple children’s book authors are confirmed for the Expo.  There will also be storytimes in the presentation space, face painting, and more.

Can I purchase books at the Expo?

Each author will have their books for sale.  

How many authors will be featured at the Expo?

70+ authors will be featured at the Expo.
